When Deka Immobilien acquired the 20,000m², 4.5 star NABERS and 5 star Greenstar office tower component of the mixed use South Wharf development, the base building works were halfway through the Defects Liability Period and fit out works for the various Tenants, together with some base building modifications, were underway.
Our role was to protect Deka’s interests by identifying and advising on the development, documentation, defects and capital expenditure risks associated with acquiring a development not directly under their control, prior to exchange of contracts and the $115 million acquisition.
