Napier & Blakeley has developed software designed to specifically support our Asset Performance & Lifecycle Advisory services. 

This software is a cloud database solution – rather than spreadsheets – which delivers multi-user access and provides for consistent, yet dynamic, storage and analytics. 

Reports can be generated and exported to excel or to other IT applications.  Forecasts can also be filtered by elemental descriptions based on industry standards.

For example, for each item of major plant within a building:

  • Serial number, picture, location
  • Tax depreciation rate and written down values, calculated daily
  • Manufactures’ design and maintenance specifications
  • Warranties, together with associated date flags
  • Condition reports
  • Lifecycle expectations
  • Management of essential services compliance documentation

From an operational perspective, the information in the database ensures the capacity to obtain the most cost effective maintenance agreements, as the provide – at quote stage – can be readily provided with exactly the information they need to reduce their allowances for risk and thus their contract cost.

Importantly, from a capital expenditure perspective, the software can provide information on a whole portfolio, whole of portfolio capex and maximise economies of scale through whole of portfolio procurement opportunities.
